Everyone knows that exericising is beneficial for your physical and mental wellbeing, however with modern day hectic lifestyles it is all too easy to put your wellbeing on the back burner! Here are our top five reasons to priorotise working out in your daily routine!

We have all heard about exercise releasing endorphines which impoves mood, but what exactly are endorphines and how does it all work? Working out stresses your system, so your brain pumps out endorphins to cope with pain and stress on the body. Endorphins are the body's "Feel-Good" Chemicals that interact with the brain receptors to help you feel relaxed, less impacted by pain and be in a better mood. The production of endorphin varies from one person to the other. Therefore, different individuals produce different levels of endorphins by doing same kind of exercise. Because of the fact that endorphins levels increase with regular or prolonged exercises, it is reported that many athletes or runners feel the euphoria and exhilaration in the course of their run. This feeling is called “the runners high.” which many of us have heard of. 
Reduce Blood Pressure
People with high blood pressure are at risk for cardiovascular disease, narrowing of the arteries, heart failure and stroke. For most people, the lower your blood pressure, the better . While there's not much you can do about factors you inherit that contribute to high blood pressure, modifying your lifestyle can make a big difference – reducing or eliminating the need for medication. Regular exercise has the same long-term effect as blood-pressure-lowering medication It doesn't have to be very strenuous exercise. While blood pressure does rise when you exercise, this is just to increase blood flow to the large muscles of the body. Regular physical activity makes our heart stronger and a stronger heart is able to pump more blood with less effort. If the heart can work less to pump then the force exerted on the arteries reduces and this in turn lowers the blood pressure.
Improves Immune System
Raising your heart rate, heating your body and promoting sweat are just a few things that happen during cardio exercise that can help you stave off viruses and bacteria. Regular exercise will improve a person’s overall health, which benefits the immune system. Exercise improves the cardiovascular system and protects a person’s body from some diseases. Increased activity will lead to increased blood flow and improved blood circulation which in turn will improve cell transportation, which leads to an improved immune response. 
Enhanced Brain Function
Exercise affects the brain on multiple fronts. It increases heart rate, which pumps more oxygen to the brain. It also aids the release of hormones which participate in aiding and providing an environment for the growth of brain cells. Working out in the morning before going to work not only spikes brain activity and prepares you for mental stresses for the rest of the day, but also produces increases retention of new information, and better react to complex situations.  
Boost Energy Levels
 Regular exercise will boost your energy more than almost anything else you can do. It stimulates your heart and oxygenates your blood so lungs and cardiovascular system work better and you feel more energetic. Fatigue can be the result of a vicious cycle, as you can often feel too tired in the morning or after work to get up and exercise, but this lack of activity only makes you more sluggish, and as a result even less inclined to exercise. Getting into the habit of exercising regularly can be difficult, but the more you exercise, the more energetic you will feel.
