Vitamin D is very important for the human body in terms of the hormone balance, immune regulation, digestion and fertility. We all know that calcium is very important for our body and especially for our bones. But the fact that few of us are aware is we need Vitamin K2 in order to get the actual benefit from the calcium. Vitamin K2 is the main element that carries the calcium to the bones. And without it, our bodies cannot use the calcium to build up bones. You can get Vitamin K2 in pastured egg yolks, milk and cheese from grass-fed animals, liver, be, and chicken. Unfortunately, you cannot get Vitamin K2 from plants, exceptionally from natto, a fermented soybean product.

Yes, you can get Vitamin A from carrots. But in order to get enough Vitamin A to answer the need for your body, the amount of the food needs to be very high. On the other hand, Vitamin A can be found in large percentage in liver, or pastured egg yolks.
Omega-3 fatty acids
These polyunsaturated fats are vital for regulating blood clotting, brain, and heart health, and controlling inflammation. Even though some plant-based solutions can be found in rapeseed and flaxseed oils, some nuts such as walnuts, or hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, soya, and soy products; only the small of thee these short-chain fats can be converted into long-chain fats. Iron is very important for blood production. The lack of iron may cause for us to feel dizzy, tired, or even anaemia. Our bodies mostly get iron from the red mean. Although there are some plant-based products that are very rich in iron such as beans, lentils, chickpeas, quinoa, some nuts, and seed. Then what is the problem? The difference is, plant-based iron and animal-based iron have very different forms. While the body can absorb animal-based iron very easily, plant-based iron takes much longer time to be absorbed and get its efficiency.
When it comes to diet, whatever works well for someone else may not always be the best diet for you. It is always wise to discuss with your doctor about your physical health and diet. Even though your morals are not letting you eat some food groups, you should always put your health to the first plan.
